JOHOR BARU: Singapore has halted all exports of construction and demolition (C&D) waste to Malaysia with immediate effect following concerns over alleged illegal dumping in Pontian.

Johor Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp) director Zainal Fitri Ahmad said the decision was conveyed by Singapore’s National Environment Agency (NEA) during a phone call today. Source: New Straits Times
