China is running out of waste to burn after building more than 1.000 incineration plants and is starting to excavate landfills to fuel furnaces.

China has invested heavily in incinerate waste to generate electricity and alleviate pressure on overcrowded landfills. The strategy progressed rapidly and became one of the largest structures of this type of energy on the planet. Now, the scenario has changed.
