KUCHING: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and Trienekens (Sarawak) are working together on a joint solid waste education and recycling programme for schools within the council’s jurisdiction. Its deputy chairman Dato Ahmad Ibrahim said the success of the MPP-Trienekens pilot project with SK Taba Sait had motivated the council to work with other schools for similar purpose. “We hope to do this programme not just with primary schools but also with secondary schools and universities within our jurisdiction.
